When clients come into our office needing a new website many of them ask what the process is and what to expect so here’s your answer…
At The Crouch Group we believe in unique, customizable and affordable websites. Our goal is to create an online representation of you and your business through your website. With that in mind, here is a snapshot of the process we utilize to build your new website.
Website Grading
We take a look at your current website and score it on a 100 point scale. This scoring takes into account usability, SEO, mobile components, content, technology within the site, backlinks, social shareability, among other areas. This is the starting point to determine what your site is doing well and areas that could use some improvement.
The Facelift
Once we have the technical components addressed we start to talk about the site aesthetics. What visually do you like and dislike about your site? What do you envision your new site looking like? This is the fun part because we get to learn about you as our client and your preferences. Now for the experts! Our team of designers then start to create a new look for your website.
The Wireframe
In this phase our design team will map your site layout and function visually this is called a wireframe (pictured below). We review the flow and initial look with you and get your stamp of approval.
The Art
With an approved wireframe as a guide, we start to add the design elements: photos, content, logos and all of the website components are pieced together. Your vision comes to life as the art elements are added.
Go Live!
The final phase is to make your website active and online. Viola!
